SHOOTING WITH MODELS: A 10-YEAR LEARNING CURVE
We have retired all our previous talks and now only offer our new talk entitled "Shooting with Models: A 10-year Learning Curve". This talk is free apart from travel expenses at the usual PAGB rates (currently .45p per mile to and from our home in Colwyn Bay, North Wales), plus if more than one hour travelling from home, one night’s B&B and evening meal.This talk looks back on our photographic journey over the last 10 years and focuses on how we gradually began to specialise in portraiture and shooting models. The talk will be filled with hints, tips and suggestions we’ve picked up along the way (for example how we achieve the soft painterly light that characterises many of our portraits). The images in this presentation are chosen to show how the learning curve was always educational, occasionally surprising, and frequently fun.
